THE PALACE SPORTS STORY
Palace Sports started in 2021 as a way for our founder, Ogbonna “Prince” Uche, to share sports information, highlights, and facts he found interesting during the pandemic. Sharing sports news quickly became a passion for Prince which led to the launch of the Palace Sports podcast within a couple of weeks of starting the page.
Through the page, Prince has been able to connect with sports fans, industry professionals, and athletes to provide a better sports experience through content. We are constantly shifting and experimenting with ways to break out in the industry and that opportunity presented itself through Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL).
We signed our first athlete, Zion Sellers – UNCP Soccer, in July 2021 and were able to officially launch the Palace Sports Agency in 2022 to represent athletes and help them connect with brands while developing their personal brands.
With the help of our amazing followers, interns, and people who believe in what we are doing, we are well on our way to providing the best sports experiences on any platform.

Ogbonna “Prince” Uche
Founder / FIBA & WNBA Agent
Prince Uche, from Charlotte, NC, is the founder of Palace Sports and the Palace Sports Agency. A graduate of Ohio University and East Carolina University, where he earned bachelor’s degrees in Sports Management and Business Analytics, as well as a master’s in Sports Management, Prince possesses an understanding of the sports industry.
Driven by a mission to create stories, empower athletes, and elevate others coming into the sports industry, Prince has built Palace Sports and the Palace Sports Agency which are dedicated to sharing all sports stories even if mainstream channels won’t and representing all athletes while providing them with the support they need to excel on and off the field.
Prince is committed to driving Palace Sports to new heights of success and to continue to shape the future of sports media and representation.
Nick McElroy
Director of Scouting
Nick McElroy, from Cleveland, Ohio, joined the Palace Sports Agency as an intern for the Spring 2024 semester. Nick has earned his degree in Sports Industry at Ohio State University and a Master’s in Sports Administration from Ohio University. He plans to attend Cincinnati to pursue his Doctorate in Sports Administration.
Nick is driven to empower athletes by allowing them to focus on their passion while he handles the logistical aspects. In his role as Director of Scouting, Nick contributes by generating innovative ideas to propel the agency forward, collaborating with team members to ensure collective efforts drive success.
